Former anchors of “Good Morning America,” T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, were reportedly exploring their options for a comeback in the media industry.

However, it appears ABC has limited their chances of returning to mainstream media, according to a source from The U.S. Sun. According to the source, the pair is prevented from appearing in any news-related anchoring post due to an exit agreement they signed with ABC.

The source went on to say that the duo was only casually searching for jobs, and even if they had an anchoring offer, they would not be able to accept it because of the wording in their exit contract.

However, a second insider disputed this version of events, stating that the duo was not bound by the agreement to take new positions. Furthermore, a network source also denied the reports of a non-compete agreement in the ousted anchors’ exit packages.

Despite the conflicting reports, it is clear that Holmes and Robach’s absence from the airwaves is taking a toll on their relationship with their fans. In an interview with The U.S. Sun, Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, warned that the longer the duo is off the air, the weaker their emotional connection with their audience will become. This could ultimately harm their perceived value in the industry.
