Jeff Loveness, the screenwriter of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, has refuted allegations of being behind the script leak for the upcoming Marvel movie.
On Twitter, Loveness responded to a claim that he may have orchestrated the leak, stating, “Nah. That’s not me.”
Recently, Disney took action after a 63-page transcript, likely intended for subtitling, of the third Ant-Man movie was discovered online in edited form on a Portuguese web interface.
The script leak included an introduction attributing the text to Loveness, but the writer brushed off the leaked dialogue and Marvel franchise phases.
In an interview with Gizmodo, Loveness said, “I just saw it as one movie. I’m not part of the inner cabal [of Marvel] that meets underneath the Vatican or something [laughs]. I’m not part of that Volturi vampire enclave or something.”
Loveness will be writing for Marvel again, working on Avengers: The Kang Dynasty.
