The Indian film and television industry has lost another brilliant star, as veteran actor Nitesh Pandey passed away at the age of 51 due to a heart attack. The incident occurred when the actor had a sudden cardiac arrest while shooting in Igatpuri which is near Nashik.
The brother-in-law of the deceased actor, Siddharth Nagar, confirmed the news of the actor’s death and also revealed that Pandey’s father has left for Igatpuri to receive his son’s body. Pandey was reported to be in good health until his last day, leaving his sudden demise as a shock to his family and the entertainment industry.
Pandey’s untimely death has come as a huge blow to the industry which was already dealing with the recent sudden deaths of actors Aditya Singh Rajput and Vaibhavi Upadhyaya. Colleagues and friends from the fraternity have expressed their sadness and condolences on social media.
Well-known actor Gulshan Devaiah took to social media and posted a picture of the late actor with a caption that reads, “Nitesh Pandey: 17 January 1973-23 May 2023. Goodbye sir.”
Nitesh Pandey was a popular actor across television and film. He became a household name after his performance in the famous comedy drama ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’ in 2006. He also had a brief stint in Bollywood with a role in Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ in 2007, as per reports.
