Ariana Madix has responded to the growing rumours that the affair between herself and Tom Sandoval, known as ‘Scandoval’, was staged for the purpose of boosting ratings in the show ‘Vanderpump Rules’.
Madix, who appeared on ‘The View’, denied the claims, stating that the affair was “very real” and called the rumours “insulting to me personally”. She went on to explain that the affair was something she had “really gone through” and that her friends had also been affected.
On ‘Today with Hoda & Jenna’, Madix also quashed the idea that showrunners were involved in staging the affair or were aware of it prior to its public revelation. She revealed that the first conversation she had outside of her friend group was with showrunner Jeremiah, and that he was just as devastated as she was. Although there were “rumblings or suspicions” among producers, they did not believe the rumours.
Madix’s comments come as rumors continue to swirl around the reality show, with viewers questioning the authenticity of the drama portrayed on screen. However, Madix’s claims suggest that the drama between herself and Sandoval was, in fact, genuine and not staged for entertainment purposes.
