Barbie’s soundtrack, formally named The Album is producing numerous buzz because it encompasses a roster of A-lister musicians.
The star-studded artist lineup for the soundtrack, The Album, was introduced in three phases by Rolling Stone.
The primary announcement revealing the primary group of artists to be featured within the music video was made on Might 23. Dua Lipa, Ice Spice, Ava Max, Dominic Fike, Fifty-fifty, Gayle, Haim, Kali, Karol G, Khalid, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, PinkPantheress, Ryan Gosling, Tame Impala, Child Laroi and Charli XCX had been stated to be a part of the Barbie’s soundtrack.
The second announcement revealing the names of Billie Eilish and her Finneas to be a part of the music video was made on July 6.
On July 10, the ultimate thriller artist to finish the lineup of singers for The Album was launched and it occurred to be, Sam Smith.
Smith later took to Instagram and stated, “I can’t wait so that you can hear what we’ve created collectively” including “Barbie land! Right here we come!!!”.
The film’s lead actress Margot Robbie in an interview with Rolling Stone, stated, there are some lyrics within the soundtrack that add an additional layer of comedy to the storyline.
She continued, “The music is principally the voice of the viewers. The lyrics reply to what’s taking place onscreen. So, it is not only a soundtrack – it’s a gadget to boost what the viewers is watching and experiencing.”
