According to The Sun, the actor-director, who has been spotted bickering with Lopez on multiple occasions, has grown “tired” of her controlling nature. However, PR expert Matt Yanofsky claims that Affleck will not sacrifice his career as he has always “prioritized business over drama”.
Speaking to Heat Magazine, a source said that Affleck is “burnt out” and wants “space” due to the hectic demands of managing their blended family in addition to their work commitments.
Despite this, Yanofsky believes that Affleck will continue to prioritize his career and focus on the business aspect of his life. “He’s a very smart businessman. Never underestimate his business savvy,” the expert told The Mirror.
Although Affleck allegedly wishes for a quieter life as a celebrity, Yanofsky notes that this is possible due to social media platforms like Instagram, which have made paparazzi photos less valuable. However, he also notes that it ultimately depends on whether or not Lopez is willing to live a quieter life as well.
