Emma Heming Willis, wife of the famous The Sixth Sense star Bruce Willis, has shared some candid facts about her husband’s dementia, which has impacted his communication and verbal abilities. She stated that there is presently no remedy available for this deteriorating condition and expressed the importance of being informed about brain health.
In the model’s Instagram post, she said, “The sad truth is that there is no remedy for Alzheimer’s or dementia.” Emma emphasized that no vitamin intake can aid in treating a degenerative disease, but discussing dementia can be beneficial in prevention.
Emma also mentioned the significance of medical professionals addressing young women in their 20s about maintaining brain health before it becomes too late. “I think we should be discussing brain health more often,” she added.
In February 2023, Willis’ condition was confirmed to have worsened and changed to frontotemporal dementia (FTD), which has impeded his speaking and communication abilities. The initial diagnosis was aphasia, following which Bruce Willis chose to retire from acting.
