CDA updates data about housing societies

Islamabad: The civic company has compiled an up to date knowledge about housing societies that may present essential data to the individuals who need to purchase plots or houses within the federal capital.

In keeping with the small print, the up to date details about the housing societies could be posted this week on the official web site of the civic company. Two-tier approvals for personal housing schemes are granted by the civic company. First, technical approval of Structure Plan (LOP) of the scheme. Secondly, the No Objection Certificates (NOC) for improvement of the scheme is issued upon completion of subsequent formalities. The sponsors can begin improvement work and sale of plots after acquiring NOC. It’s pertinent to say right here that agro farming and residential housing schemes are permissible in Zone-4 below the provisions of ICT (Zoning) Regulation, 1992 [amended in 2010] and permissions are granted by CDA after finishing the codal formalities.

The advertising/advertis­ement of housing tasks with out NOC from CDA is unlawful and unauthorized. The advertisers/advertising businesses have been restrained from deceptive promoting/advertising of unlawful housing schemes.
