Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger recently spoke about his son-in-law Chris Pratt’s latest hobby, playing chess. Speaking to ExtraTV, the veteran actor praised Pratt’s focus and intelligence. He continued by saying that he is an average chess player but Pratt, being new to the game, was already showing extraordinary skills.
Recently, Pratt had appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where he revealed that he played chess with Schwarzenegger frequently, but had never been able to beat him. Saying that Schwarzenegger was a great father-in-law, he also mentioned that Schwarzenegger is an excellent chess player who always manages to defeat him.
During a recent game of chess with Schwarzenegger, the Terminator actor was almost defeated and had to remain focused on the board. Schwarzenegger was so impressed with Pratt’s gameplay that he requested him to leave the room as he didn’t want any distractions while playing.
It looks like Chris Pratt’s focus and dedication has impressed his father-in-law and chess grandmaster Arnold Schwarzenegger.
