The gold price in Pakistan has dropped significantly by more than Rs2,000 per tola on Thursday, just a day after reaching an all-time high. The market experts attribute the decline to the fluctuations in the global market.
According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the rate of gold (24 carats) decreased by Rs2,700 per tola and Rs2,314 per 10 grams, reaching Rs237,300 and Rs203,447, respectively.
This fluctuation may have a deep impact on the gold market of Pakistan. Many people invest heavily in gold, especially during the wedding season and this decline can significantly affect their purchasing power.
