On Monday, gold prices showed an increase of Rs1,100/tola.
According to the All Sindh Saraf Jewellers Association, the current gold rates stand at Rs235,100/tola. Additionally, the price of 10 gram gold has risen by Rs943, now costing Rs201,560. Meanwhile, in the international market, gold rates saw an increase of $5, closing at $2,015/ounce.
Similarly, silver rates also increased by Rs100, standing at Rs3,000/tola. The price of 10 gram silver rose by Rs85.72 and now stands at Rs2,572.
Experts have noted that the current gold prices in the local market are significantly higher, approximately Rs3,500/tola, when compared to the gold rates in the Dubai gold market.
