Pakistani mountaineer Naila Kiani also made history by scaling Mount Everest, becoming the second woman from the country to conquer the world’s highest peak. The first female mountaineer from Pakistan to scale the peak was Samina Baig in 2013.

Kiani has already climbed Annapurna I in Nepal, K2, Gasherbrum I, and II before scaling Mount Everest. She is now aiming to conquer 8,516m high Lhotse, the fourth tallest mountain.
