The intermediate exams scheduled to happen on Friday (June 16) have been postponed in view of the attainable rains in Karachi and the approaching cyclone Biparjoy.
Board of Intermediate Schooling Karachi (BIEK) Controller of Examinations Zaheeruddin Bhutto issued a press release on this regard on Thursday, saying {that a} new date for the intermediate exams will probably be introduced later.
“The intermediate exams scheduled to be held tomorrow, Friday, June 16, have been postponed in view of the attainable rains and the cyclone. A brand new date will probably be introduced later,” learn the assertion issued.
Earlier this week, the Sindh authorities introduced cancelling all examinations, training seminars, summer time camps and education-related actions.
The Pakistan Meteorological Division (PMD) mentioned in its replace that the cyclone over the northeast Arabian Sea has moved additional northeastward over the last six hours.
It now lies close to latitude 22.9°N and longitude 67.4°E at a distance of about 220km south of Karachi, 210km south of Thatta and 130km south of Keti Bandar, the assertion added.
