The popular John Wick movie series has earned over $1 billion in global box office revenue, according to reports. The most recent installment, John Wick: Chapter 4, has led the other movies with $425.3 million followed by John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’s $326.7 million, Chapter 2‘s $171.54 million, and the original film’s $87.8 million. As the release in Japan is pending, the franchise continues to perform well globally, as reported by Variety.
Chairman of Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Joe Drake, credits the achievement to the remarkable work of the director Chad Stahelski, lead actor Keanu Reeves, and the production team, who have constantly pushed their limits with every new movie. “This milestone is a testament to the incredible work of Chad Stahelski and Keanu Reeves, alongside Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, who have made it their mission to outdo themselves with each successive film in this franchise,” Drake stated.
“We could not be more grateful to global moviegoers for bringing us to this incredible achievement.”
John Wick: Chapter 4, directed by Chad Stahelski, continues the story of the hitman named John Wick and his ongoing battle against the powerful High Table organization.
