Known for his love of parties, Depp has reportedly experienced a shift in his priorities and now values getting enough rest to stay fresh and focused during events. An insider revealed to Sunday Mirror that all eyes were on the actor, and he wanted to avoid anything that could potentially damage his comeback after receiving positive reception at the Palais des Festivals opening ceremony.
The source also explained that Depp’s absence from the Carlton Cannes party for his movie was visible, and everyone was expecting him to attend. However, he chose to “lay low” to avoid any tension with guests and to ensure that he was in the best shape for the next day’s activities.
