Country musician Keith Urban recently attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour with his wife Nicole Kidman and spoke exclusively to People Magazine about the experience. Urban praised Swift’s performance, saying that she is at the peak of her career right now. He added that her tour is the best of the best and that he knew it would be great going in.
Urban even shared a TikTok video of himself and Kidman rocking out to Swift’s hits Style and Blank Space. He captioned the post with “We love ya @TaylorSwift.” Later, he shared an image of all the friendship bracelets that the fans had given them on his Instagram stories.
Urban has collaborated with Swift previously, in 2008 and 2021, on re-releases of her songs. He was also a surprise performer during her 1989 World Tour in 2015, where they sang his songs John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16 and Somebody Like You.
Regarding Swift’s decision to re-record her songs after her previous record label sold her records manager, Scooter Braun, Urban called it amazing. He further stated that although Swift is not the first artist to re-record her old songs, she has been able to get her fans to support these new versions because they understand why she is doing it. He added that she deserves credit for taking artistic control of her music.
