Priyanka Chopra recently spoke about her entry into the film industry despite having no prior acting experience or education on the She Pivots podcast.
She explained that when she initially started out, she had no knowledge or experience of the entertainment industry or glamour. However, she relied on her instincts, learned on the job, and observed everything around her to survive. She never attended an acting school as such.
After making it big in Bollywood, Chopra switched to Hollywood, which was a risky move, according to her. “It was a big risk. You know, I had a relatively relevant career in India, [but] I was compelled to pivot and come to the States,” she said.
Success and what it means to her has been different at different stages of her career, said Chopra.
On the work front, Chopra’s American spy thriller series Citadel has been released on Amazon Prime. Meanwhile, she is set to begin shooting for her upcoming Bollywood film Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt, according to Pinkvilla.
