Riley Keough was absent from her twin sisters’ graduation while her grandmother Priscilla Presley attended after settling the Graceland dispute. According to Daily Mail, the former wife of Elvis Presley was seen walking separately from the girls and their father, Michael Lockwood, on May 20th, 2023, as they left the middle school commencement. Riley Keough left on her own after the event.
The 14-year-old twins, Harper and Finley, were seen happily talking and smiling with their father. He recently gained full custody of them after the death of his ex-wife, Lisa Marie Presley, with whom he shared daughters.
Recently, the news broke that Lockwood had filed for full custody and received it, marking the end of his seven-year-long child custody battle with the late Lisa Marie. Although Riley Keough has not expressed her feelings publicly, a source told Radar Online that she was “furious” with Priscilla Presley for not objecting to Lockwood getting full custody of the twins. According to the source, the actress feels like she is “losing” her sisters to an “outsider”.
The graduation ceremony took place after Riley Keough, Priscilla, and Lockwood (who was acting as a guardian for the twins) agreed to a settlement regarding Lisa Marie Presley’s will for the Graceland trust. Notably, the legal dispute came just two weeks after the sudden passing of Lisa Marie in January 2023. Priscilla had filed a petition challenging the 2016 amendment in her late daughter’s will that left Riley Keough in charge. She claimed the will ousted her and business manager Barry Siegel as trustees, which was not legitimate.
Keough’s lawyer stated that the War Pony director is “very content” with the settlement. However, she hasn’t been seen with her family members since then.
