Riley Keough’s ‘priority’ to focus on daughter after settling legal dispute with Priscilla Presley

Riley Keoughs ‘priority to focus on daughter after settling legal

Riley Keough, the actress known for her role in “Daisy Jones & the Six”, is now focusing on her daughter after settling a lawsuit over her mother Lisa Marie Presley’s estate with her grandmother, Priscilla Presley. According to a source, Riley is glad to have settled the dispute and hopes to avoid drama with her grandmother.

Lisa Marie, who was also a mother of 14-year-old twins with her ex-husband Michael Lockwood, passed away suddenly due to a cardiac arrest on January 12, 2023. Priscilla had challenged the legitimacy of the 2016 amendment in her late daughter’s will, which made Riley the trustee and ousted Priscilla and business manager Barry Siegel.

The insider added that Riley is still grieving over her mother, and it has been challenging for her. However, now that the legal case is settled, Riley is happy and content. She wants to focus on making memories with her daughter, which is now her priority.

Riley shares a daughter with her husband Ben Smith-Petersen, whom she welcomed secretly in 2022. The terms of the settlement are not yet disclosed, but the lawyers have until June 14th to file them and plan to file a motion to seal the documents. The judge is expected to rule on that motion on August 4th.
