The actor took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the documentary, set to be released on Monday, which covers details about the Princess of Pop’s family estrangement, unsuccessful intervention, alarming behavior, and legacy in the music industry. Sam protested against the content, calling it “absolutely disgusting” and criticizing those who narrated the story as if it were theirs when Britney couldn’t speak for herself.
Sam, who is also a fitness trainer, slammed the documentary’s focus on Britney’s father Jamie Spears’ control over her, describing her as the most influential person of her generation and America’s sweetheart. He then questioned the channel’s intentions for examining his wife’s story after years of suffering and called for an end to such scrutiny.
