After three days of suspension due to protests across the country, social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter have been restored.

On May 9, protests erupted following the arrest of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, after which users began reporting issues accessing the aforementioned social media services.
