Vanessa Kirby, the star of Mission: Impossible, praised her co-star Tom Cruise’s motorcycle stunt in the upcoming movie in an interview with Variety. Kirby said that Cruise jumped from a motorcycle and rode it off a cliff in Iceland for one of the scenes in the eighth installment of the franchise.
Kirby further stated that Cruise completed the stunt repeatedly, capturing all the different angles and sides of the scene. Despite the risks involved, Cruise remained calm and unfazed, showing no signs of nervousness throughout the sequence.
Kirby found Cruise’s dedication to the craft inspiring and believes that his passion for cinema is unparalleled. She also mentioned that she’s excited to be returning for another installment of the franchise, having signed up for one more movie. Kirby loves playing her character in the series and hopes to play her in future projects.
The movie is set to hit theaters on July 14, 2023.
