In an exclusive interview with People, he spoke candidly about how life has changed for him since the birth of his daughter, Matilda, and expressed gratitude for having a partner to share the journey with.
The actor, who welcomed his daughter with girlfriend Kaley Cuoco, described fatherhood as both amazing and challenging. He emphasized that it’s “the most beautiful thing ever” and expressed his gratitude for having a partner to go through this experience with.
Pelphrey admitted that he was surprised at how intuitive he is as a parent, stating that there’s just something about knowing how to hold and burp his baby and interpreting her cries when she’s upset. One of the things he loves most about fatherhood is taking his daughter for a walk in the stroller, which makes the experience even more magical. He also expressed his excitement for the holiday season and for his daughter to meet the rest of his family and friends.
He acknowledged that parenting is challenging, especially for single parents, and admitted that he doesn’t know how they do it. However, he’s grateful to have a supportive partner and is enjoying every moment of this beautiful journey.
