Unscheduled power loadshedding irks residents

Rawalpindi residents are disturbed by unscheduled power loadshedding, which is negatively affecting their daily lives and commercial activities.

Anum Qureshi, a Satellite Town resident, stated that they are unaware of the power loadshedding schedule, which is causing a lot of inconvenience. If the government announces a schedule, citizens can better plan their daily activities.

Currently, the city is facing three to five hours of loadshedding daily, and this might increase in the coming months. The rise in temperature during summertime has also led to an increase in the usage of air conditioners and coolers, adding to the burden of power shortage.

Zahid Hussain, a resident of Sadiqabad, demanded that the authorities provide a power loadshedding schedule for better planning of daily routines. He also suggested limiting the voltage during peak hours to discourage the use of air conditioners.

Economic hardship has already made it challenging for people to pay electricity bills, and excessive power outages are adding to their burden. The government must take necessary measures to reduce unscheduled power outages and provide citizens with a schedule for better management of their daily life.
