Fans of the Spice Girls have a reason to rejoice as Victoria Beckham is all set to reunite with the group for an upcoming project, confirmed Mel B. The group, consisting of all five members – Victoria, Mel B, Mel C, Emma Bunton, and Geri Halliwell, has not joined hands in 11 years for any venture. Mel B confirmed this exciting news to The Sun but did not divulge any details about the project, promising that fans can expect an official announcement, anytime soon.
Although she refused to share any details about the project, Mel B promised that the fans and followers of the group will fall in love with what they are going to roll out soon. “What that is, I can’t say right now because we’re just finishing off perfecting what we’re going to be doing together, all five of us, but it’s going to be something that the fans are really going to love,” she added.
When asked how they convinced Victoria to reunite with the group, Mel B revealed that it wasn’t a matter of convincing her, as they have always remained in touch. The Spice Girls even have a WhatsApp group where they chat with each other regularly. It was just a matter of finding the right time to come together, she said. Victoria Beckham had previously denied rumors of returning to the group, citing her commitments to her family and fashion line as the reasons.
The singer also shared her theory, saying that if she talks about the project enough, it will materialize. “My theory is that if I say it enough, it will happen. But actually, we are planning on releasing a statement,” she added.
