WhatsApp, a famous app used by millions of users worldwide, is developing a new update that aims to make conversations among users more enjoyable.
According to the reliable source WaBetaInfo, the upcoming update will enable users to make their stickers within the app. As of now, this feature is still under development and not available to beta testers.
The new feature would provide users with the ability to swiftly create stickers from their images. “This feature utilizes iOS 16 APIs to extract a subject right out of an image and then, it is automatically converted into a sticker in the app,” reported WaBetaInfo.
The sticker-maker tool will be present within the chat share action sheet. Users can select a photo from their gallery, and WhatsApp will provide them with some tools to edit it, including the ability to remove the background.
With this feature in the app, users will be free from downloading third-party apps as they will have a more natural experience while making stickers.
Although this tool is available on WhatsApp Web and WhatsApp Desktop, iOS users will get additional tools once this feature is available for them.
