WhatsApp, the Meta-owned social media platform that caters to millions of users globally, is always looking to enhance its users’ experience. While WhatsApp primarily updates its native Windows and macOS applications, it also brings features to its web client with a new update.
According to the tech site WABetaInfo, those in the WhatsApp Web beta programme can try out the latest chat share sheet and emoji panel design improvements.
The chat share sheet has a fully redesigned layout, with more compact spacing and labeled icons, as shown in the screenshot shared by WABetaInfo. Additionally, the emojis panel previously used to occupy the whole bottom section of the screen is now shown separately and is smaller in size, along with the GIF and sticker tabs.
While this redesigned chat share sheet and emoji panel is currently only available to some beta testers who joined WhatsApp Web’s official beta program, the company plans to roll it out further in the coming days for all users.
