Yasin Khan, a renowned bodybuilder from Pakistan representing Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda), has added another achievement to his illustrious career by winning the Mr Pakistan Olympic 2023 title. He secured this title during the 34th National Games held in Quetta in a competition involving top bodybuilders from all over the country.

During the competition, Yasin Khan revealed great form and skill, outclassing his competitors in every round. In the final round, he faced a tough challenge from Fida Baloch, representing Karachi. However, Yasin succeeded by being voted as the best poser, which earned him the coveted title of Mr Pakistan Olympic 2023.

Speaking about his achievement, Yasin expressed his pride and gratitude, saying, “It’s a very proud moment for me. It was a tough competition overall. I worked really hard to reach this stage. I am extremely thankful to my parents, trainers, and friends for their all-out support.”

After winning the championship, people carried him on their shoulders to take a round of the bodybuilding arena. “I didn’t expect this much love from the people of Quetta. I would like to thank all of them for their support and appreciation,” said Yasin.

Yasin, who has already won several accolades, now aims to represent Pakistan at the international level. He said, “I want to represent Pakistan at the international level. I have won many titles before, but I want to do much more than this for my country.”

Yasin also urged the government to support bodybuilding, stating that the sport is costly and requires financial support to represent Pakistan at the international level.

Notably, WAPDA earned 150 points and won the Gold medal in the team category of the bodybuilding event. Pakistan Army secured the Silver medal with 76 points, whereas Balochistan, the hosts, claimed the Bronze medal with 15 points.
